Some climbers don’t even reach the top, but experience a sort of self-realization through the mental and emotional process of pushing their limits. Climbing culture is an addicting one in which a person’s lifestyle can become entirely transformed once submerged. From the lingo, the attitude, the personality, down to the clothing style, there is a culture within the communities that practice the sport.

An eery silence precludes an ever-trending riot mentality that Kentucky students have been falling under, regardless of a win or loss. Slowly, the results of the game become evident as angry basketball fans trickle onto the pavement shouting profanities and throwing bottles. With every wave of students dressed in blue, chaos ensues. Police watch on the surrounding front yards, stepping in, when necessary, to prevent serious harm or damage.

Dillie was born blind and, in turn, was rejected by her mother. She is now an international media sensation and was even featured in National Geographic Magazine in April of 2014, as well as on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Animal Planet's "Naughty by Nature." Today, she enjoys snacking on lollipops, swimming in the backyard pool, and sleeping in her own bed in her own room.
